October 20, 2007 – Here’s a toast to an unforgettable evening for the MS Society, Alberta Division. With an amazing line-up of guest speakers, an  incredible dinner provided by chef Chris Williams, a wonderful selection of wines to enjoy and an intimate and interactive musical performance by Tommy Banks, the PAMS Premier Gala and Wine Auction could not have been more memorable.
Over 100 guests attended the black tie gala at the Hilton Garden Inn – West Edmonton. Everyone was dressed in their finest attire and prepared for an enjoyable evening created to raise awareness of multiple sclerosis in the community. The gala was a huge success in not only raising awareness but $40,000 for the Alberta Division of the MS Society as well. All guests left with a better understanding of the opportunities they have to partner with the MS Society in helping end MS.
We would like to extend a special thank you to all of our inspirational speakers: Ms. Diana Joseph of Wen-Di Interiors, Dr. V. Wee Yong of University of Calgary and Mr. Patrick LaForge of the Edmonton Oilers, for enlightening us all with your heart-felt stories and exciting breakthroughs.
The PAMS Premier Gala and Wine Auction marks the beginning of an exciting new venture for the MS Society. We look forward to gaining momentum as we join together with members of our community to find a cure for multiple sclerosis.
