2008 Awards Program

** Deadline for submissions to the Atlantic Division office has been extended to Thursday, July 31, 2008 **

The MS Society of Canada Awards Program was established to recognize the outstanding contributions made by members, non-members, board members, volunteers, people with MS, and caregivers in any of the following areas: 

  • client services
  • public education
  • government relations
  • fundraising
  • research
  • administration

Length of service, organizational skills, creativity, amount raised (if fundraising), leadership skills, inspiration to others, enthusiasm and improved public understanding of MS are but a few of the qualifications for nominees.

Awards are presented at the Atlantic Division’s Annual General Meeting, but are are not necessarily given annually. Rather, they are given only if there is an appropriate candidate.  All nominees must sign the privacy statement provided.
