Volunteers can join TeamMS too!
Are
you or someone you know interested in being part of this event but
can’t cycle or walk? Or have you participated for many years but feel
you might need an extra challenge this year?
Not only can Bike and WALK
participants create teams, but volunteers can too! Encourage your
friends, family, and co-workers to volunteer and join your team.
An official team consists of a Team
Captain and 3 (or more) members. Your team can be made up of both
participants and volunteers – anyone who registers and raises the
minimum pledge for that event. A team member can even be both
participant and volunteer at the same time! It’s a great way to have
fun and support a great cause to the maximum of your ability.
When registering for an event as a
fundraising volunteer on a team, please follow the usual registration
steps and then contact Jackie Nelson, TeamMS Coordinator at
604-602-3200 or jackie.nelson@mssociety.ca
Be sure to put "TeamMS Participant who is also Volunteering" in the subject line and include, in the body of your email, your
event name (i.e. Vancouver WALK, Chilliwack WALK, Fraser Valley Grape
Escape), your team name and your team captain’s name.
Jackie will coordinate your TeamMS and volunteer experience with Stacey Bradshaw, Coordinator of Volunteer Services. Stacey can be reached directly at 604-602-3215 or stacey.bradshaw@mssociety.ca
