Why the MS Society?
There are over 3,500 individuals and their families living with
multiple sclerosis in Saskatchewan. MS strikes women three times more often as men, and is
often diagnosed in the "prime of life" (age 15-40)
when most people are building careers and families. Symptoms
range from loss of balance, temporary blindness, to paralysis.
There are 55,000-75,000 Canadians living with MS. Canada has one of the highest incidence rates of MS in
the world. You can help us change that.
From
selling tickets, to serving up burgers, we make it fun for you!
Read on to see what interests you and where we can best make
use of your skills...

Help at the office
Can you spare an hour or two? Maybe you’re looking to devote your time to a year long project? We have a variety of projects all year long that will suit your volunteer commitment. We are always in need of assistance to help at our office, whether it is filing, reception, sorting, data entry, stuffing and packing campaign related materials, or getting ready for a major event. We also need key volunteers to help coordinate our events and help out at our events throughout the year. We are happy to have volunteers come in for a visit and help keep us one step ahead. We'll put the coffee on!

Carnation Campaign
Every year on Mother's Day weekend, thousands of volunteers across Canada help us by coordinating carnation sales in their workplace. The orders are processed at our office and flowers are delivered directly back to your workplace. Help us, by being a carnation coordinator at your workplace. How about spending a few hours surrounded by flowers and friends, help us by selling carnations at a public place during Mother's Day week. Shifts are 2-3 hours in length. Volunteer and watch your efforts blossom into a cure!
