Funding, Scholarships, and Bursaries

The second part of the mission of the MS Society of Canada is to enable people with multiple sclerosis to improve their quality of life. Saskatchewan Division aims to fulfill this, in part, via providing funding, subsidies, scholarships and bursaries.

Funding

Special Assistance Program
The MS Special Assistance Program assists people with MS to purchase designated services, aids or equipment that will help to increase independence and enhance their quality of life.

Assistance funds are designed to meet a one-time or a short-time need and not to provide ongoing financial support.

Individuals may apply for up to $200 per fiscal year (September through August) for a variety of uses which include: equipment and assistive devices, home air conditioning, spring or fall house cleaning, home adaptation, therapeutic counseling, Lifeline® supportive assistance, respite, and transportation assistance.

Recreation Subsidies
